This is my Dad’s recipe for Brown Sugar + Molasses Beans. I took these photographs a while ago when Dad and I made the beans and crescent rolls. They taste so delicious and I hope the next time I make them I can recreate them. Thankfully, I wrote down the recipe when Dad was baking them. Enjoy.

+ 3 more cups of water
1 cup of molasses
1 cup of brown sugar
½ cup ketchup
5 tablespoons yellow mustard
2-3 sprinkles each of salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder

Soak your beans overnight in cold water.
Use the water you soaked your beans in for the mixture just remove the beans.
Mix together all your ingredients, place your beans back in and fold together.
Bake on low maybe 250 degrees for 3-4 hours.
