This homemade chicken ball with marinara sauce served on top of spaghetti can be one of those 20-minute meals you desperately need on a busy evening. I actually have a ball making party in my kitchen numerous times per month. I’ll purchase ground chicken, ground pork or hamburger meat and start making balls. I can easily freeze them and then use them for a quick meal when there isn’t much time and I need my families bellies full and happy. 4 cups of ground chicken
½ cup of breadcrumbs
pinch of salt and pepper
2 tablespoon onion powder
2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 spoonful of minced garlic
½ cup finely diced onion
1 teaspoon onion powder
Mix all the ingredients together for the chicken balls.
Form into balls by rolling it between your palms.
Bake in the oven at 330 degrees for 40 minutes turning over at the 20-minute mark.
Put the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste into a blender and pulse until it is blended well.
Add the remaining ingredients into the blender and mix together. Boil your spaghetti.
Simmer your chicken balls in the marinara sauce in a skillet for a few minutes to heat.
Serve to a hungry family.
